We use a diverse array of raw grain, malts, hops, and yeast to ensure all of our products have a distinct personality of their own.

Beers with Distinct Ingredients

  • Selected Malts
    We pride in using over 80 different malts in our brands. This gives each one of our recipes a unique character.
  • Quality Hops
    Hops are difficult to keep consistent, year after year, we select hops that will fit our recipe profile the best.
  • Special Water
    Our water is sourced from the great lakes . A perfect brewing water.
  • Unique Yeast
    We use many strains of yeast, this helps us produce the distinct character in our beer. remember , the yeast makes the beer. The brewer makes the wort.
  • Seasonal beer
    We use fruits and other goods when they are in season. For example ; only Michigan pie pumpkins in our All Hallows Ale.
  • Modern Equipment
    We designed and built our own equipment. This allows us to utilize cereal grains.

    Cereal Mash! very few craft brewers can make beer from raw materials.

    Our lautertun is fitted with a custom milled false bottom. Our kettle is steam jacketed and fitted with a wort spreader for peak evaporation of unwanted volatilizes.
  • Fermentation
    Fermentation
    We employ both Conical and Horizontal fermentation vessels, as the tank geometry does impart different beer flavors.

    We keg most our products for draft at out locations. We do bottle and can some products

We produce many recipes,  some beers are year round and always available on tap and in cans or bottles.  But we are also proud of our wide spectrum of specialty beers we produce seasonally.

INTERNATIONAL AWARD WINNING

Multi award winners at The Great American Beer Festival and World beer cup.  We are unbelievably proud to have won Gold at the World beer cup  in the IPA category for the DRIPA (Double Rice India Pale Ale) the largest entries of any category.

Frank Retell our Mead maker extraordinaire has brought much glory over the years with wins at the coveted MAZER cup, the largest MEAD competition in the world.
